Would You Rather?: Fitness Edition, Tempo Study, & HIIT Training | Deadlifts and Pizza Ep. 34

In this episode, we dive into the ups and downs of parenting, especially when it comes to motivating kids to tackle tough tasks and showing affection to kids with special needs. On the fitness side, we chat about everything from heart rate monitoring during intense workouts to the inevitable discomfort of pushing your limits.

But that’s not all. We get nerdy with muscle anatomy, how tempo affects muscle growth, and why mixing up your workouts is so important. We also play Would You Rather, which includes topics such as strength vs endurance, workout structure, our choices of clients, plateauing forever or starting our fitness journey over again, and having a personal chef or maid.

To round it all out, we keep it fun with a little game that’s supposed to depict what our 2025 is going to be like.
